In 1955, Shree Subbiah garu started Subbayya Gari Hotel in Kakinada as a small mess to provide meals at just Rs. 50 paisa. His immense efforts, home-like hospitality and of course the love for the art of cooking soon spread far & wide and this tiny mess evolved into the legendary Subbaiah Gari Hotel.
