Years Legacy
Subbayya Gari Hotel is the brain child of Shree Subbayya garu. His unique ability to combine ingredients in a perfect proportion using the finest and freshest ingredients made him bring out the best taste of traditional food of the land. Mr. Subbayya's passion towards bringing the delicious and hygienic food at an affordable cost made him to streamline his efforts to open a mess. Ultimately, in 1950, with the support staff of 10 people, he opened a small mess and started serving meals for just 50 paisa.
Later In 1955, Mr. Subbayya had moved the mess to Kakinada, a town in East Godavari District in Andhra Pradesh and named it as Sri Krishna Vilas. His immense efforts, home-like hospitality and of course the love for the art of cooking soon spread far & wide and this tiny mess evolved into the legendary Subbayya Gari Hotel.
One thing that made Subbayya Gari Hotel exemplary in restaurants space is its hospitality. Every customer is treated as a royal guest and the friendly stewards serve the food with love, warmth, and passion. The way the customers are pampered to taste all the recipes made it an iconic culinary destination, an epitome of authentic vegetarian restaurant.

Famous personalities like P.V Narasimha Rao Garu (Ex-Prime Minister), N. T. Rama Rao Garu, popular film actors, popular food vloggers and many eminent personalities visited it to explore the delicious food.
